GST - We wish to advise our clients that any works or old invoices that are paid for after the 1st of October 2010, will incur a 2.5% increase. This also includes quotes or invoices that show the old tax rate. Unfortunately this is not our personal doing, it is imposed on us by law. We advise our customers to book now and pay early. Deposits recieved before 1/10/10 will be at the current tax rate of 12.5%.

Concrete Care is pleased to be working on our largest job yet - approx 26,000 SqM of floor prep at Mansons TLCM (Telecom). We are preparing the floors for carpet tiles, 6mm rubber and vinyl flooring. To date we have installed approx 3000 bags of levelling compound. Consider us for any future jobs of this nature, and be assured of high standard workmanship, and streamlined handling of large scale complex projects.

Positive News - Concrete Care has recently increased our staffing levels, gaining more experienced staff (we now have 15 employees on board). We have also purchased another new concrete floor grinder; a fourth, 3 head planetary grinder, for the highest quality Diamond Polished Concrete finishes. This is in addition to two machines we also purchaed recently; a planetary grinder, and a propane driven (we believe this is the first LPG machine in New Zealand) twin head machine for aggressive surface removal and floor prep. This machine is invalualbe on sites with no or limited power, and has the added advantage of emissions low enough to be used in air conditioned commercial buildings. This brings us to a total of 6 walk behind grinders, allowing us to achieve a quick turnover of work, completed to our trademark high standard.

Tis the season for fixing swimming pools - We have just completed the refurbishment of two swimming pools; the first being at Waiwera Thermal Resort, the other at Northcote Primary School. Both required extensive preparation to the surfaces, including crack repairs and surface reconstruction. Call us to discuss what we can do for you.

We offer a great range of Epoxy floor coating systems. From roll coat systems to heavy duty epoxy screeds, high chemical resistance to electrostatic coatings. We even have moisture tolerant epoxy primers for concrete that is not fully cured and rapid cure systems to get you back in business quickly. We also do PU flooring systems for higher chemical and heat resistance and Acrylic systems that can be completed in a short timeframe.

In other words he did not over sell his product or services. We felt fully informed of the pros and cons. What we did find was his communication clear and accurate and was followed up with actions. The work was done on time and to a standard that we were very happy with. To top this off the final invoice came in under his quote.
